Welcome to Stringing Pearls!

I am Glad you are here!

There is an ancient, beautiful rabbinic method of teaching called charaz, which literally translates to "stringing pearls." It is the practice of gathering seemingly disconnected verses from across the Scriptures and carefully stringing them together to reveal a cohesive, brilliant theological truth. That is exactly what this space is dedicated to.

Here, I approach the Word of God wearing two lenses: as a scholar and as a daughter.

Holding a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and currently aspiring toward a PhD, I deeply value rigorous theology, historical context, and the rich original languages of the text. I believe in the calling of Ezra—to set our hearts to study the Word, but just as importantly, to step up and gently explain it so that everyone can understand.

But rigorous study is only as valuable as its ability to lead us to the feet of Jesus. Before I am a scholar, I am a daughter. This means that alongside the exegesis and the textual studies, you will find raw devotion, the wrestling of the heart, and the quiet, honest moments from the secret place.

My greatest desire is to serve the local church by bridging the gap between the academy and the pew. Theology should not be confined to a classroom; it is meant to equip, comfort, and transform the body of Christ.

I write this from the quiet hours between family life and ministry — and whether we are breaking down a Hebrew root word or simply sitting in the quietness of God's grace, I invite you to join me as we string these pearls of truth together.
