Who doesn't want to be happy? That goal is set before us in childhood and we actively pursue that desire throughout our entire
lives. In this study, we will separate our more contemporary definitions of "happiness" from what the authors of the New
Testament meant when they spoke of contentment and the "real" life that is ours as Christ-followers.
