Head and heart knowledge of just where you stand is needed in any successful relationship. So it is with our God. We
need to know, beyond a doubt, that He is aware of our plight and the pain we incur. We do not serve an unattached and
alienated Deity. The good news is that He desires our fellowship and has made provision for our needed access to His
presence. In this devotion, we take a look at Christ’s rather human, and yet heavenly, reaction to the death of a close
friend and the realities that it implies.
